I get the feeling I won't have time to do anything once I start school. I get this feeling because anyone who has ever gone to grad school or knows someone who has attended law school tells me, "You won't have time to do anything once you start school." Knowing this in advance, though, means I can prep now for things I know are coming up. Like Christmas. So today, while Monsieur Henry was napping, I got out the Christmas cards and started addressing them. Once that's done, I'll begin drafting the end of the year newsletter. And then I'll finish up my Christmas and birthday shopping.

Christmas? Okay - I get the shopping and even addressing the envelopes - but how in the world can you draft the letter? Are you predicting the future?
Everyone kept telling me that after Liam was born I wouldn't have time for anything - they were right. I did my best to prepare, but it all catches up with you. =)
Hee hee. No predicting the future here. Instead I do all of the prep work, selecting the recipe for the front, along with starting to pick our favorite things of the year. I can also start drafting the letter on the back that gives a quick overview of what occurred each month.
I'm still wondering how I'm going to maintain the blog daily once school starts. I have a feeling it may turn from Henry's blog - which is what it essentially is now - to my school blog.
I am totally impressed. I often have good intentions to get a jump start on things like that but never seem to be able to get it done. Kudos!
oh god.. you're one of THOSE????
just kidding. my 4th quarter is so busy with birthdays, christmas, socials and the such that I usually start getting stuff organized now. even have the theme and (most of) the favors for danny's 2nd birthday purchased. yeah. he's 15 months old.
