Multitudinous woes

By GAIL COLLINS: The woes of the world have been so multitudinous lately that it’s hard to give them all proper attention. You start fretting about the collapse of the housing market. Then you wander off into melting glaciers or large cranes collapsing at urban construction sites. And before you know it, the day is over.
