Bike meets bar

If you have ever wondered what might happen if you enter a parking garage with limited clearance while a bike is strapped to the top of your car, I have an answer for you.

The bike will hit the bar that hangs in front of the building's gate, fall to it's side, rip up the bike rack it is attached to, and cause the bar to fall and dent the top of your car.

All I can say is this: Darr was driving.

Yeah, oops is one way to put it I guess. Sounds like fate decided you guys just didn't have enough to worry about right now.

I thought you meant the bar (the law one) when I saw this title, and was very curious where the story would go from there.

I don't suppose you could claim the parking bar was defective and fell on top of your car.

Well Betty, that's a good point. In fact, its purpose is to be there to run into so that you don't run into any of the plumbing once inside the garage, so, I mean, it should be able to survive being run into, yes?

D'oh. Bike vs bar: no one leaves standing.
I bet it made a terrific noise.
