Trust Me

There's a good op-ed piece about the proposed bailout plan. Trust me? I don't think so.

Is anyone else worried when the media keeps making comparisons about how this financial meltdown is worse than the Great Depression?

Hell yes. All they have to say is "Great Depression" and people go running. Does that remind anyone of another phrase our government has used a lot lately? Say, in the last 7 years and 13 days?

I'm also a little frightened that what might be the biggest financial decision of our time is being made in closed-door rooms by guys who probably couldn't explain economics to you.
