Brunch, part deux

The theme:
Chocolate

The menu:
French onion tart
Bok choy quiche
Banana and chocolate chip pancakes
Fruit salad with champagne reduction
Chocolate chip scones
Pumpkin bread with chocolate chips
Chocolate fondue with fruit, marshmallows, and graham crackers
Fried potatoes
Pork platter with ham, bacon, and sausage
Banana cookies with chocolate chips

The hostess and host and Monsieur host:
The condo peoples

The consensus:
A bit sweet so a word to the wise for others thinking of following suit - balance out all of that chocolate with many salty options. We missed our founding members, who are still enjoying life down in Mexico and were not able to attend.

Of course there were pictures...

Thanks so much for hosting, condo peeps! Everything was awesome. How we ended up with this group of great chefs, I have no earthly idea!

How fun is this? Is this a weekly thing you've got going? Sweet!

For those of us with a sweet-tooth, the menu was *perfect*.

Wonderful pictures! I especially love the last ones. Apparently it takes not one, but two cookies to get up the stairs.

Rachele,
Thanks! Miss Elise was too cute for words today. :)

Anne,
After all that chocolate, pizza sounds pretty good right now.

Amber,
Thanks for coming! The fondue was awesome. How can you not like chocolate fondue?!

Cathy,
We're shooting for monthly meetings. I can't imagine doing this every weekend.
