Yes, we did have a chocolate cupcake with chocolate mint frosting for lunch. Because that's the kind of parent I am.
*I made the mistake of allowing Henry to take a late nap so he could stay up to catch the fireworks and snow display shortly after nine o' clock. This decision was one of my worst. Ever. Very, very bad. It was an awful decision. Don't ever repeat my mistake. Certainly don't do it if there is a balcony ledge just begging to be jumped off nearby.
