I can't hear you

No, seriously, you approach me from the right and I'm not going to know it. While on the flight home my right ear wouldn't pop - that frickin' hurts - and so I'm left with a useless ear until the pressure is able to equalize. Stupid Eustachian tube. The good news is we're home, another awesome flight under our belts. One fellow mom traveler commented that Henry was "the most awesome" toddler traveler ever so we're feeling great pride in our little boy. (It's really the iPod, stretchy dinosaur toys, airline snack food, and Little Golden Books that deserve the credit. And Henry's good traveling nature.) It feels good to be home.

I'm having the same stupid problem after a flight on Thursday. It's driving me batty! After a google search, I've tried a neti pot, steroid nasal spray and even my old swimming trick of putting a cotton ball soaked in isoprobyl alcohol in my ear. None of them have worked. Another lesson in patience I suppose. Not my strongest virtue...
