Shutter speed play

While waiting in line for the Finding Nemo submarine ride I had a few minutes to play with the shutter speed. I really like the flowing, silky look of water that is achieved by using a slower shutter speed. I was pretty pleased when, with a few tweaks of the settings, I was able to get this shot. Certainly not the best shot but a worthy first attempt, I think. And with a tripod it could be even better as that would eliminate the blurriness caused by the hand holding.

On an unrelated note, I reserved an iPad today. My argument is that this would make a great early birthday present. Darr's is that it's expensive. Whatevah.

Agreed but also I need to have my camera back from the repair shop.

Yeah, when's that gonna happen? Do you want to borrow mine? It's not like I'm using it much these days.

Hopefully within the next few weeks. They should be calling this week to tell me if fixing it is even possible.
