*As Amber posted here, the light was tricky in this place, and I, too, had to do some heavy editing before I could get close to versions of the pics I was happy with. I know light is important but I usually don't think about it until I'm in a situation that 1. has bad/weird/insufficient lighting or B) has awesome lighting. The difference for me between the two is how much time I have to spend editing. With good lighting, I might make some adjustments to the contrast and sharpness. With bad lighting, I'm changing everything from the tint and saturation to the shadows and exposure. The ceiling was so high I'm doubtful any reasonably priced flash would have done any good, unless you were bouncing the light off a wall near the shot. Hmmmm...

Great shots! Even with the strange lighting. Wow. That party looks like so much fun. And I love Henry's new "do".
