Book thirty-two: Under the Dome by Stephen King
This gigantic book didn't take too long because it moved quickly and the story was intriguing enough to keep me interested. It would have to. I ain't sitting around straining my tired eyes for 1072 pages of crapola. The annoying aspect of the story line, because, yes, there was one, I ignored for as long as I could. I mean, really? Really, Mr. King? That's how this all happened. But still, how mass hysteria enables a dastardly fellow to take over while the good folks look on and make ineffectual attempts to remove him from power is sort of interesting. I would have liked to see a female in the role as the bad guy but, hey, I didn't write the book. All this to say, it is what it is. 26 down, plus 6.
