Book fifty-one: Skipping Christmas by John Grisham

If you were wondering if the Bartell Drugs at Fifth and Olive in downtown Seattle had a great book selection, I am here to tell you it does not. It's also how I came to read Skipping Christmas about a husband and wife, after their daughter leaves the country with the Peace Corps, who decide to, you guessed it, skip Christmas. But I read it so I'm counting it.

26 down, plus 25.

It sounds excellent.

That's what the main character thought, too. Turns out, skipping Christmas is a very extremely not good idea. Let that be a lesson to you.
