Book twenty-one: Lost on Planet China by J. Maarten Troost

I really enjoy Troost's writing. While this book lacked the intense comedic element of The Sex Lives of Cannibals, it was still an enthralling read. And it was still pretty funny in parts. I can't imagine eating yak or watching the flying phlegm of China's residents. But I would definitely consider visiting Hong Kong and going to Tibet. Hmmm... Anyway, if you like travel writing and reading about other countries and you prefer hilarity to suffering, this guy's writing might be worth checking out.

21 down plus 31 and volume 1 of the Norton Anthology of English Literature to go.
