Our new home away from home

Two words describe our trip to Lincoln City today - perfect weather. It was a touch foggy when we arrived but the sun burned through that and by noon the kids were playing in the water - that is cold northwest Pacific Ocean water, folks. Activities included running to and fro the water, chasing kites, attempting to fly kites, dodging out-of-control kites, and picking crashed kites off the ground, as well as building sand castles, destroying sand castles, searching for sea creatures, and posing for their camera-happy chaperones.
