What's in a name?

Due to a communication breakdown I missed my photography workshop last night. (Drat.) But since I had already rented a micro (for macro shots, go figure) lens, I skedaddled up to the Portland Rose Gardens with Hen this morning armed with my camera, rented lens (105mm), and one very informative email from Ms. Rachele, who did make it to the workshop and was nice enough to share the tips she gleaned from the instructor. I'm going back again this evening to see if the dusk light provides more opportunity for longer shutter speeds. The original and edited versions of my favorites from this morning are posted for your viewing pleasure.
