Photography fun: Fourth of July

So I don't forget next year the online tips I read about shooting fireworks include using a tripod, closing the aperture to f/8.0 or more, setting your ISO to 100 or 200, and decreasing the shutter speed. My brother's neighbors really let us down this year with their meager fireworks display. I mean, come on, neighbors. Thank goodness Sister Megan had the good sense to buy a few or I wouldn't have managed to take any shots of the fireworks. I also need to remember next year to buy some of my own. I assume knowing what direction and when they are going to go off would greatly increase my chances of capturing a few pictures.  Here's what I got...
Shutter 1/13 Aperture f/8 ISO 200 - original

Shutter 1/13 Aperture f/8 ISO 200 - original

Shutter 1.0s Aperture f/8 ISO 200 - original

Shutter 1.0s Aperture f/8 ISO 200 - original

And here's a link to the rest of the set at Flickr.
