I co-hosted a baby mist for third-time mama,
Rachele, a few weeks ago and finally edited the photos so I could blog about the event.
Megan and I figured since it was traditional to hold a shower for first babies, and it is catching on to hold sprinkles for second children, that a mist was the perfect choice for mothers expecting third children. Portland weather was on theme the day of the mist. Megan made a most-excellent banner with two-sides. And, yeah, it says what it says. What can I tell you? Sometimes curse words add a humorous touch. There was a light luncheon, followed by present unwrapping, and then some Chantilly cake. In lieu of shower decorations, we purchased a few infant toys from IKEA, set them out, and then donated them to
My Little Waiting Room. Homemade items included two sets of knitted booties, a knitted blanket, decorated onesies (my favorite is the one that says "g3" on it), and bibs using recycled materials. Of course there were pictures...
