Making it his own

Hen asked this morning to play with my box of childhood toys that he saw in his closet. And now he's playing with my Strawberry Shortcake dolls and Smurfs. But it's with a twist because he 1. doesn't have the cartoon versions to play off of and B) is a boy. The large house has become an evil snake lair. And Papa Smurf is going to protect the other Smurfs "for hours". And somehow Huckleberry Pie is involved.
