These pics were taken the Friday before Halloween. Darr's company was having a party and Hen got invited to come in for some early trick-or-treating. You know, 'cuz the kids need more candy. I finished the tentacle cape the night before but had to wait for hours and hours before Hen could try it on since he was already asleep. It was fairly easy to make, and Hen was quite happy with its versatility, changing it from an octopus to a jellyfish to an octopus/jellyfish/dog whelk* as the evening progressed.
*I'm not sure how a dog whelk is connected to the octopus and jellyfish but sometimes you just gotta go with the kid's imagination.
