| The day began with presents in bed. This birthday boy's mama was extremely happy she found sea creature-themed wrapping paper. |

| Followed by the obligatory photo by the wall shot on school days. |

| Then a school celebration - woot! |

| By then, the birthday boy was tuckered out. |
 |
| We came home and decorated with balloons, ya'll! |
 |
| Then I had to take a picture of Hen's sea-creature-themed cupcakes from Helen Bernhard's. (Sshhhh, I totally stole this idea from Amber.) |

| A few days later, we had a family birthday celebration! |

| One cousin in attendance was Cousin Gavin. |
 |
| Yeah, cake decorating isn't my forte but I'm still pleased considering I used plastic bags for the frosting since the pastry bag tips I have were far too large for such delicate things as sea creatures. By the way, that pink thing is both an octopus and a jellyfish. |
 |
| Later that evening, sea creature play commenced with one ginormous but friendly octopus. |

Damn, you throw great birthday parties! I so wish we could have been there. The cupcake and cakes are adorable. And sea creature themed wrapping paper - you're an interest-honoring-mom show-off!
