Phew. I was able to finish reading this book to Hen tonight and, yes, I'm counting it, too. That brings my still-sluggish and not-at-all impressive number for the year to 38. That means it took me approximate one and a half weeks to finish each book. As stated previously, I shall try harder next year. I have a plethora of books on hold at the library and just got another nine for Christmas, not to mention the six I currently have checked out and two unread books on the iPad and the rest of the Uglies book on loan from a friend. There is no reason I should not be able to hit the ground running tomorrow.
38 down and this is really the last for this year. A mere 14 shy of the goal. Drat.
