Book thirty-six: The Family Fang by Kevin Wilson

This is one crazy and entertaining book. Annie and Buster (a.k.a. A and B) are the children of Caleb and Camille. Caleb and Camille are artists, artists who create art through manufactured moments (scenes?) they invent ahead of time and play out, typically in public places. The story moves along at a fairly brisk pace, which is a must these days or I never manage to finish, and is interspersed with chapters that outline past art pieces they have performed. I am doing a disservice trying to explain it. The book is about family and loyalty and becoming independent and moving on. It is about surviving childhood and discovering self. It is a good read. You should read it.

36 down and 16 I'm not going to read by midnight tomorrow. Sigh. Better luck next year, I guess.
