Attacking the shark

I wasn't sure we were going to make it out of the casa today. Avery is still not feeling well, Hen was doing a bang up job entertaining himself, and I was just feeling lazy. But we managed to get our things together and hit the pool. I have video that I'll post when I return but must mention now that Hen, when a pool is present, the weather is warm, and his goggles are on hand, will hop in and attempt to swim. For whatever reason it is a little scary for him to go underwater, but once he does that he'll start kicking his legs and moving his arms to propel him forward. Then he immediately went on a mission to find and take care of, whatever that means to a preschooler, the sharks in the pool, of which there were many. For all the other swimmers present, you're welcome.

Please note, spending large chunks of time playing in and around water is not an effective way to wear this kid out. I am beginning to think doing so is impossible.

Oh, and some guy (I would place him in his late 20s, early 30s) came into the shallow section where the kids were playing and asked Hen if he'd peed in the pool. And he had sort of a Mean tone. I don't think Hen heard him but I wish I would have spoken up with a "Oh, yeah, he did a little sort of right by where you're at. You might want to move."
