Sewing: Snack bag and camping shirt

I knocked out projects today. Along with the pillowcase and ninja shorts, I also made one lined snack bag and revamped one shirt.

I saw a friend's younger kid wearing this camping dino onesie and loved it but later found out that it was only made in toddler sizes. Doh. It was so cute I had to get one for Hen. I bought the largest onesie (on sale, no less), cut the cute dino print out, and then sewed it to a blank t-shirt.

Did you use PUL fabric to line the snack bag? I"ve got 1.5 yards of a cute PUL fabric, to make the snack bags, but was thinking of using it as the lining and going with a cute cotton print for the outside.

I used nylon for the lining. I have some PUL that I'm going to use to line the lunch bag I'm making for Hen for school next year so the inside will be easy to wipe down. It was pretty easy to make. I used this tutorial: http://owensolivia.blogspot.com/2011/08/olivias-snack-bag-tutorial.html

Thanks for the link! I think that's the same one I used for the one snack bag I made - you've got me hankering to make more.

Do you have a pattern for the lunch box you're making? Very curious!
