I do lots of typical SAHM jobs* but am much more efficient and don't have to listen to this (side note: Hen has never called me Lois):
vacuum house
laundry
dishes
recycling
take the trash out
clean litter box
pick up dry cleaning
deposit Darr's checks
drop off donation at Goodwill
hit Home Depot for gardening supplies and paint swatches
make dinner
Day Two
sort through† pile of crap in our bedroom (this is huge, people, both the pile and the task)
clean off Hen's desk to prepare for [gasp!] kindergarten!
hang art above Hen's desk
take trash out
set up table tennis game (can't find one paddle)
price Duplo sets (to sell on craigslist)

After |
Day Three
schedule appointment for Beauty the wonder dog
pay bills
relax
Day Four
clean patio
plant peas, carrots, basil, and catnip (which apparently can be used for tea?)
take out trash
take out trash
prepare letter writing activity for Hen
make dinner
Day Five
create a yearbook for the senior class (for this I had to sift through hundreds of photos)
*These jobs are done throughout the rest of the week but sporadically and as needed.
†The picture shows a rather tame pile o' stuff. I assure ye t'was much larger. It took me several hours to go through everything, determine which items could be thrown out, and find a place for the remaining things.
