Book forty-nine: The False Prince by Jennifer A. Nielsen

Yet another book nominated for the ORCA has been enjoyed by the lady of the condo. This one is in the middle school category. It is fantastic. I had so much fun reading this book I nabbed the second and third books in the trilogy while at the library today. 

Sage is an orphan who is picked up, along with several other boys, by a wealthy regent who wishes to create the next prince for the kingdom. Much training is done, there is lots of intrigue. There is also a mute girl. What else could you ask for?
