Things we've been doing:- reading - I've met the goal for the year (yippee!), Darren started a 1000+ page series of sci-fi written by a female author, and Hen has discovered Minecraft fan fiction
- school - and with it the tiniest bit of homework (ugh.)
- cousin birthday dinner because someone in the condo is turning 8 (see picture at right)
- work - Darr's working, I'm working and volunteering
Summer is very much over and we are on the downward slide to the holidays and 2016. 2016, people!

I'm glad you're not the only one with little bits of homework. It's odd! But I guess for me it's only first grade . . . but maybe more than one page!??
