Book one of the latest series we're starting with Hen. So awesome!
The thing that sucks is that it is a book about three kids and a mom who have been left by dad. Yuck. But they move to this huge ramshackle house and discover, well, I'm not going to say what they discover. The first book is fast moving, it took us one evening plus a little reading after lunch the next day to get through it, the illustrations are beautiful, and that one thing that happens in the dumbwaiter, well, I just can't say.
If you have a child, you should definitely read these books. I have a feeling we're in a very exciting few days of stories.
