Book twenty: Fake Mustache by Tom Angleberger

Back in October we went to an author signing with Tom Angleberger, who was traveling around to pump up sales on McToad Mows Tiny Island. First off, that guy is so super nice. He was great with the kids and seemed to be having so much fun. Once you're established and have representation and stuff I think being a children's author must be about the best job on earth. But I digress. While at the signing, we picked up Fake Mustache and we finally got around to reading it. What a great story! There is a fake mustache, of course, but there's also a bad guy, a rodeo t.v. star, and just an ordinary kid who - SPOILER ALERT - helps save the day. We give both Fake Mustache and McToad Mows Tiny Island two thumbs up. Check them out if you get the chance.

20 down plus 32 to go.
