Book thirty-two: The Dinner by Herman Koch

I picked this book because there was a recommendation on the front cover by Gillian Flynn, author of Gone Girl. (I still haven't read her book but I did enjoy the movie.) It said the book was "Chilling, nasty, smart, shocking, and unputdownable." All I can say to that is, "Yep!" So good.

The scenes with the two couples at dinner are tense. The storyline is unexpected. What a fun read.

32 down plus 20 to go.
