Wildwood

Hen and I finished reading Wildwood by Colin Meloy and since it's based in Portland we pretty much only had one option to head out for an adventure to find the decaying home of the Dowager Governess (a.k.a. the Witch's Castle). We were denied our journey into the Impassable Forest when we arrived at the trailhead only to find the trail was closed. Last winter wreaked havoc on the trail and the bridges so entrance is prohibited until the city gets a chance to fix them. Nuts. Instead, we drove to the LEGO store to look at the new sets and swing by the Apple store. Good thing, too. Because whilst Hen checked out games on the newest iPads, a dragon appeared! I have picture proof (see below).
