Basketball!

It feels like basketball ended before it even really began. The boys did a great job this year, winning the majority of their games and working hard to make sure everyone had opportunities to score, which Henry did in the last game of the season. It was a stunning, nothing-but-net kind of basket that I happened to almost mostly catch on film. Way to go, Dragons!

Sports at the condo: Basketball

Hen has a new love for basketball after being asked to join the community center's team. There's only one practice a week and progress is as slow as you'd expect given there's only one practice a week, but the kids play with a lot of heart. I am most proud of Hen's willingness to give up the ball. He's great at assists. He's not a bad shot either. We have been getting some good use out of the courts at the park just up the street. And with the new basketball shoes on his feet, he is ready to go.
