Timbers, game two

The Timbers lost to Salt Lake in the final minutes of the game. Ugh.

Many thanks to Mrs. Smith for watching Hen for us this evening so I could attend the game. I love standing in the Timbers Army section. There is so much energy. We are constantly chanting and clapping and singing and yelling and booing (the refs for bad calls, the opposing team for sucking) and jumping and shuffling and drinking beer and flipping people off. It makes what would otherwise undoubtedly seem like a very long game go by relatively quickly. Also, I got a compliment for my singing of the national anthem, and it wasn't sarcastic. That's right, I brought my vocal stylings to the game. You're welcome, stadium. You're welcome.

We heard from our friend that we were seen on t.v. during the season opener. I asked if I was filmed picking boogers but she just laughed. She just laughed. I still don't know if they caught me.
