Best purchase of the year - double wide sleeping bag. The few times we've gone camping before, we dragged a gazillion blankets with us and I always ended up moving next to Hen to steal some of his warmth. (Man alive, does that kid ever produce some body heat.) This sleeping bag will be much easier to use and take up less space in the car since it rolls up neatly and can be stuffed into a sack for transport. Hen can also use it as a cave and explore it with his headlamp. And I do believe the entire family, minus Beautimous Jones, could all fit in there if the need arose. Looks like next week, we'll be hitting the road to go somewhere to test drive this bag in the wild.
