Approximately four hours

We were invited to a birthday party today and it was at our friend's house with a bona fide pool and Hen got in that pool and proceeded to swim with his friends for nearly four hours, breaking only for lunch, birthday cake, and one trip to the potty. It might be short-lived but for today, we had ourselves a water hound for a son.

I tried and tried and tried to get a pic of all the boys jumping into the pool at the same time but could not make this happen. One boy would jump early, another one would follow, and the third would eventually make his way in, too. Or two would jump and the third, not paying any attention, would be looking off in the wrong direction and totally miss the cue. It was like herding cats, I tell ya.
