Book sixty: Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli

Given to me by a friend from junior high, this book takes me back to those high school years. I was not a Stargirl. I had no desire to be different. But this seems a good one to distribute to any kid getting ready to go into junior or high school. Let it serve as a reminder that it is okay to be different, and convince us to treat those endearing oddballs just as we wish to be treated, with a bit of dignity and respect.
