Book twelve: The Thing About Jellyfish by Ali Benjamin

Even though this book is about a difficult subject, the death of a classmate, it is well written and has such heart and appeal that I can't think of anyone who shouldn't read it at some point. 

Suzy loses her best friend once and then again for good. She is unable to accept the sentiment that sometimes "things just happen". And her fascination with jellyfish leads her to a theory about what really happened. This book is about love and loss, how friendships change, family, and, of course, jellyfish.
