Pictobrowser test

Cool, it works! I saw this type of slideshow display on another blog and wanted to learn how to do it, which I was able to do after a quick IM session with my lovely husband. This might be a better option than constantly referring folks to our Flickr account or uploading the many pics to blogger individually. Nice.

Love it love it love it! I went to the site and got the code! Where did you paste it, Christie, in Blogger, to get it to show at the top like you did?

I created a new post and pasted the code in the Compose section (where you normally type your entry). If you want to keep it at the top, like the banner, I'm thinking you'd have to find, depending on the design you use for your blog, where in the Template code you need to paste the Pictobrowser code to have it stay at the top. I'll ask Darr to review it later to see if he can help me determine where that might be.

It is a pretty cool tool, though. I think it'll come in handy when I'm posting a gazillion pics of the kid on a daily basis. :)

Oh, for the width of the design I use for my blog, I had to decrease the width and height of the code the Pictobrowser was preset at. Otherwise, the Pictobrowser window was a wee bit too large and it ran into the stuff I have listed on the right of the blog.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions. And good luck!

I'm really looking forward to a gazillion pics of the kid (on a daily basis). I'm missing the newborn stage already and am looking forward to getting some fixes from your little R.A.

I mean, I'm impressed, but where's the video? :)

You want video? I'll give you video! :)

As for video of the kid, don't have any yet but will be sure to get some once I successfully convince Darr a camcorder is a required purchase now that a little one is on the way - literally, the kid just dropped. The doc said he's positioning himself to get out. Woohoo!
