Why yes, B.E., it is. (I think.) It's the Intimus S8-APR, 8" Powered Subwoofer by Aperion Audio. Darr's been putting together a nice little sound system for us that also includes the Gallo A'Dive Ti speakers and a receiver from Cambridge Audio. Had I been in charge of this, I would have just gone and bought some Bose and called it good. :)
And it is a subwoofer, but only one of the drivers is powered. The other two are passive, the idea being that it can behave like a bigger box. Who knows. It was small (for a sub) and cheap (for a sub). Woot!
While I'm in the bedroom trying to get the baby to sleep, my husband's in the living room playing with his new toy.
