Can't believe it's taken us this long

Oh Christie, is that all these people are is a couple of base labels? This is very unbecoming of someone with your intellect.

What happened to the person who argued with me so profusely about the underlying message of Harry Potter and how it wasn't just a book about privileged white kids in private school?

Lo,

This is a historical ballot. For the first time we have the option of voting for two candidates and neither of them is a white male. I was merely pointing that out. I've actually had to tone down my anti-white man rhetoric at the house since Henry was born. I don't want him to grow up feeling bad because he is one.

I am excited the contest for the nomination has lasted this long and that Oregonians will be able to vote. I am ecstatic that I have that choice.

I will see if I can't come up with a better title so other people don't reach the same conclusion you did. You have my sincerest apologies.

Very nice title amendment. Yesterday's op/ed had an interesting small letter about the use of race in this election, yet little-to-no mention of gender. I can't help but wonder what sociologists have to say about the whole thing in 25 or 50 years.

Christie,

Thanks for the clarification. I was truthfully a little disturbed by your former title.

Maybe what we need to concentrate on is the "disestablishment of Patriarchy," rather than the "downfall of the white man," since there are some white dudes who share the struggle.

I have confidence you will rear Henry just fine, aware of his privilege, without the guilt, anger, or even self-hatred exhibited by some white males.

No apologies necessary. I should have understood your motives from the outset as a fellow liberal.

Asta La Victoria, Siempre!

I meant to snap a photo of my ballot or scan it before I filled it in and sent it off--I will steal your photo if you don't mind. :)

My curiosity has peaked as to the first title of this post. Hmmmm.
