Course of action

Doc just stopped by to let us know that the second almost expert looked at Henry's bone marrow and we're about as sure as two docs can be that Henry doesn't have anything bad lurking in his marrow. A third doc will review his bone marrow test and sign off on the findings, which we expect will be very good.

Woohoo!

The doc has agreed to take Henry off his current antibiotics and keep him overnight for monitoring. His blood and counts will be checked in the morning but we shouldn't expect great increases in the numbers for a few weeks. If all looks good, we'll be able to leave tomorrow with our on-his-way-to-being-healthy baby boy.

This, of course, means I have to finish my Civ Pro homework tonight.

Zeus be praised!

Mr. "Hi Binky" can return to communing with the critters and crawling the earth as a normal human. We, collectively, are gratified.

Now you can just think of yourselves as occupying the "very sterile" floor as opposed to the oncology floor. As y'all might say, "WOOT!" [1]

[1] In the interests of full disclusure, I buy various dross from "woot.com". Other than being a customer, I have no pecuniary interest in "woot.com". Not only may your mileage vary, but pigeons may fly at your approach and you may find that by concentrating, traffic lights turn in your favour. Thank me later.

YIPPEE!

Woohoo! is right! That is such good news. How are you balancing all this with school??? You are one amazing woman (not to leave Darren out at all--he's just as amazing for balancing this with work--he just didn't write the post)!

Waaahooootie!*

occupying the "very sterile" floor busby brings up a good point: does this mean an even greater degree of cleanliness at the already spic-n-span "The Condo" is required?

Mr. Henry is one amazing little man! Strength and resilience must be genetic.
