I'm with Amber. Why aren't you livid that those darn liberals want to give people some health in this country? You gotta EARN that health, people! If you can't pay for your own healthcare, DON'T GET SICK! How else are those poor, sick folk going to learn?
A tank, on the other hand, that should be something all god-fearin', true-blooded American folk should get for free. Amen.
Megan, Megan, Megan... you're thinking about this all wrong. Everyone knows that you can't help getting sick. It happens to all of us, regardless of our economic or insurance status. And that's what emergency rooms are for.
in about ten seconds I can think of four people in my life--all with college degrees, all middle class, who are struggling with some aspect of health care, mostly due to unemployment or being small business owners. Never mind the parents of my former clients, one of whom came to my office with several missing teeth because she had no dental insurance despite working full-time, and not being able to afford the dental school. So that's great. Yeah, I've called my legislators. thanks for this--I sent the article to my parents in AR, who are ALL fired up over this (in a good way).

C'mon now Darren, where's your patriotism? If people want health care they should go get a job. Right?

Amber, amber, amber.
You've got it muddled. We all get sick, but that is what prayer is for.
