For all you BofA credit cardholders

Got one of these cards? Now might be the time to pay it off (if you don't already do that monthly) and unload it. Bank of America just announced it is going to resume charging annual fees to their customers that rarely carry balances and don't incur late or overlimit fees. Why? Because if you are a good cardholder, they don't make any money off you.

Unless it's closed or you "opt out" of the change in terms within the time frame, which will be on the paperwork they have to send out. I expect to see that from many other "big" named credit card companies, as they are all trying to make money before the new laws go into effect July of next year. We had HUGE meetings about this prior to my "departure". Banks know they're in trouble, so they need to make up for it now while they can. Makes for maintaining credit pretty worthless.

What utter crap. They already ding me for $35 for any overdraft, followed by another $35 fee if I don't replenish my account within 5 days. That's $70 for an overcharge! Ridiculous.
