Replacement
Since our Nikon is still on the fritz and won't be fixed for a few weeks, and our old digital point-and-shoot camera has started its descent into the grave, we took our Costco Amex rebate and grabbed another teeny digital camera so we don't miss any daily photos of Henry. Our last Canon PowerShot Digital Elph camera lasted over four years so I don't feel bad at all spending a few bucks on a replacement. This one is matte black, super small, and light as a feather. I may even start tinkering with the manual mode. While I miss the DSLR, it is nice knowing I have something I can grab in a pinch that'll still give me excellent shots.

I was wondering where photos of the cousins were!
I have a friend who is a semi-professional, but most of the time she uses her point-and-shoot to take amazing photos. I think it's a worthy challenge!! also, my sister is an amazing photographer and has never owned an SLR. me? I rely on the fancy camera as a crutch.
