This book has an awful and painful first couple of chapters. I almost considered stopping, that's how bad it was. But in true Koontz fashion, once the horrible and macabre started, things moved along at a swift pace and it was entertaining enough to override the first bit. If you like this type of pulp fiction and you're a fan of his work, odds are you'll like this book, too. 26 down, plus 2.

I like Dean Koontz. I haven't read any books by him in a while. I'm glad to see he's still at it. My favorite book of his was the one where the main character could see thru people into the mask and so could tell who was a goblin and who wasn't.
