Textbooks
While we were down in Mexico the Texas State Board of Education passed a social studies curriculum that is likely to have an impact on the textbooks used by all students attending public schools across the nation, unless more states jump on the California bandwagon and stop this nonsense. Texas is the second largest purchaser of textbooks. California, in its wisdom, has a bill being sent to the state Senate that's main intent is to prevent California from adopting textbooks that contain the changes approved by the Texas State Board of Education.
