On the one hand, it's been about two and a half years since we (me and my cousins on my mom's side) last all got together and that is a ridiculously long time. On the other, before that it was 20 years so, really, we've made significant progress. We went back to Daily Café - is that the most kid-friendly brunch spot or what? - and I'm happy to say that our numbers have grown by two! Last time it was just Cameron and Henry but now Cam has a baby sister, Teagan, and Heather, my other cousin, has a baby boy, Hudson. (We got to meet him when we visited Heather and my Aunt Arlene up in Washington at the end of June.) Anyway, after brunch we headed outside to get the obligatory familial shot. It never ceases to amaze me how oblivious some folks can be. We're all hustling to get the kids under control and set the timers on our various cameras, which we then place in a very conspicuous spot as we all line up a short ways away, and right through our picture walks this random guy with his headphones on. Seriously, dude, seriously? Thankfully, we have the ability to crop so this pic (random guy on right, completely and totally clueless)...

Great shot! Cousins are awesome.
Christie, it does look like you're hiding behind Hen a bit. . .
Had a friend who loved to sneak into other's unsuspecting shots. Her husband would offer to take the picture and she would sneak behind the group and make a funny face. It was easier in the pre-digital age.
