Polarize me!

Since I am currently unable to purchase a new camera I went to Pro Photo Supply and picked up some filters - two UV filters (one for each lens) and a polarizing filter for the portrait lens. I was told it's not a good idea to use more than one filter at a time because having multiple ones attached to the lens can do something funky to things like blue sky, etc. (There was some technical term for the funkiness, I just can't remember what it was.) So far, I'm liking the polarizing filter. I didn't have to do anything to the above photo.

On a side note, Miss Avery got some totally awesome new glasses and happily obliged me while I snapped a few shots of her at the park this afternoon. (She also hijacked my water bottle and drank nearly all of my water. I'm just sayin'.)
