Pumpkins!
I chaperoned my first toddler outing at Hen's daycare today. Whoa. One toddler is a handful. Multiple toddlers are a handful times twenty plus and then some. I was so tired when we left the farm I thought I'd have to pull over to the side of the road to take a nap so I wouldn't fall asleep at the wheel on the way home, and we only live half an hour away. If you're in the vicinity and have yet to hit a patch, Lee Farms is awesome. We got to see puppies and chickens and bunnies and piglets. We got to learn how apple cider is made and about the different types of squash grown at the farm. We got to pick pumpkins and go for a wagon ride. We got to play on a tractor, have lunch, and jump around the bouncy house. And we got to snack on warm, fresh pumpkin donuts. Yum. Of course, there were pictures...
