I think I need a purse. I have never really been a purse person but the amount of crap I carry in my hand is getting ridiculous - wallet, phone, iPod, keys, and if the weather is good, sunglasses in a very bulky case. Here are the two I'm currently considering:

I can't picture you with a purse of any kind, so I have no input about either of your choices. A girl can never have too many purses in my opinion though, so I vote for getting both!! (Sorry, Darren)
You've seen my highly functional, yet not overly attractive purse, so I don't think I have the qualifications for purse purchasing. Gray will match more outfits if you care about that aspect. I quite like the red one, though. The criss crosses are nice.
If you've never been to Ellington (1533 NW 24th Avenue), they have a lot of purses for cheap (given the quality) at their store since they sell their one-of-kinds and samples at their shop.
Those are both pretty cute. I like the grey, stylish and understated, but the red is beautiful . . . I agree, get both!
Amber, I know. I can't picture me with a purse either. I do find having Hen's old diaper bag on hand works well but it's a bit bulky.
Megan, The red one is made from seatbelt material. Seatbelts! Maybe I just need to buy a new wallet and call it good.
