More crafty things
Back in January, I signed up to participate in this homemade craft thing on Facebook. The rules were to post this one particular message - which outlined the rules of the game - and then send homemade items by the end of the year to the first five people to comment. In turn, this person had to post the same message and send out items to the folks that, well, you get the idea. I only had three people sign up but I'm still feeling the pressure so I've been working to get stuff out. The first item was the picnic blanket I made a few weeks ago, which was shipped off to my cousin in Texas. A few nights ago, I knocked out the second item - a set of homemade thank you cards for my sister-in-law. The yarn has been purchased for my next homemade item, which will commence as soon as I locate that book that explains how to cast on and cast off. It'll be for my aunt, who I'm thinking will also get some homemade cookies so she can share with my uncle.

Bring your yarn to craft night and I can help you cast on, if you haven't by then.
Also, I find this site immensely helpful. Here is the "cast on" video page. I typically use the long-tail cast on (first video)

I just finished my first of three pay-it-forward gifts this morning!
